It didn’t grab me at first but the Shakespeare and the ending had me in tears, so that’s a ringing endorsement.

This waa actually my favorite of the bright falls novels.
I feel like the tension and fake dating was well pulled off and I was rooting for them the whole time.
Plus a nice conclusion at the end.

I really liked this book and would have liked to rate it higher! My one gripe with it though is how the author went about adding diversity in the book. I would rather see a couple fully fleshed out and well written POC main characters as opposed to a dozen of one-off, one dimensional “diverse” side characters. The diversity was not done well and instead of feeling natural, it felt like the author was overcompensating for the utter lack of diversity in the other two books in the series with a checklist to make sure they included a person for everything in this one.
