Lovely little book - beautiful original paintings for the illustrations. Bright colors. A mother and daughter walk home from school together. The mother misses her warmer home but her daughter’s joy for the wonder and beauty of snow eventually cheers up her mood. Great story about a new immigrant family adjusting to life (and winter) in Canada.
