Lani works at a resort in Hawaii with her best friends, Kai and Honi. She ends up having a fling with a mainlander while he's there visiting the resort. they have a blast and enjoys their time together but when it's time for the guy to go back to the mainland. Lani is hurt because she thought he was going to stay and be with her but it turns out he isn't planning to stay and has no intentions of coming back for years. Weeks past and Lani finds out she's expecting. she let's Tom the main lander know but of course he wants nothing to do with either of them. Lani let's her parents and her best friends know about the pregnancy. Honi offers to help take care of the child with her. At first she says no but soon she realizes that she cares for him more than just a friend, just like he for her. Once they realize this they are happy....

I enjoyed this book so much. I loved how she had male best friends and not the typically female best friends. I would definitely enjoy reading more in this series or by this author.

It was a nice book. Those you cant put down but not because its important, or have intrigue, no, this book is so easy to read that I read almost from the beginning til the end without interruptions. What can I say, I thought that maybe the final is going to be different, with more details, I cant say what I like the end to be because it will be a spoiler, but nevertheless, the book is really nice.
