I hadn't heard of this book before it was reccomended by a family member - I wasn't expecting much wlbut was inspired by the authors testimony of her suffering; not just at Auschwitz but throughout her life. Yet despite being a book about suffering, this key message is that there is a way out of this, and you have the power, the choice, to do this. I would especially recommend this book to anyone experiencing suffering of any form - it will be a challenge to read, but definitely worth it.

Everyone should read this. It's a modern classic, and I'm shocked isn't more well known.

“Freedom lies in leading to embrace what happened”. This powerful memoir is a must read for anyone. Dr. Eger masterfully shows how no matter your trauma, your past, or prisons in your mind, that you have the CHOICE to be free—so chose freedom.

Incredible Life Story!

I found myself incredibly moved by this book. A MUST READ. If there is a book that I will always recommend, this would be on that list.
