Judy Chicago is a famous artist who has withstood deep attacks on her works. Its important to understand the kind of artist who is herself. Unlike most others she does her art to make incisive changes and in so doing she comes up against huge resistance. Each set is a Project like Dinner Table to honor women and address the inequalities. This was done in 1970s w many women and some men and it involved various media like ceramics painting embroidery needlework. This table atriangle now lives in Brooklyn museum. Her Holocaust Project was her and her new husband in mid 1989s coming to terms w what she didnt know as a jewis womanand Donald as a Jewish man about nazi german and the nazi and European attempt to completely annihilate all who were jewish. That Project was also met w harsh criticisms. Judy works in cohesion w Donald who is a photigrapher as they take on very unpopular unwelcome subjects and work in various media . Tapestry needlework recently glass. I think most recent subject is Dying its about people dyimg and extinction of species.
Judy had now become well regarded by Many.
This is her story and it reads well
I think its important to distinguish her as a woman artist w platforms‰Ы_.
