This graphic novel is set in 1930 and displays Berlin during an election year. It's scary how up to date to current (2016) events in Germany it is...

Re-read 2024: Well, things have only gotten scarier and the parallels to today are striking.

Argh! This book is so good you kind of just want to run down the street yelling about it. Can't wait for book 3.

Continuing my re-read of Lutes's saga...

In this volume, the Nazis begin creeping more to the fore and become harder to ignore.

I'll definitely be looking out for a copy of this for my personal bookshelf. The cast really shaped up and the subplots got super cool and there were queer ppl and black ppl and jazz music???

Even more beautiful than the first book, and just as haunting. It's also kind of depressing to think that there is no "next book" yet, and that it won't come out for a few years yet. I'll be patient!
