I'm honestly not sure why I purchased this graphic novel. The creator pitched me at my local comic con and I opened my wallet, but after the con was over, I found myself questioning this purchase. I was wrong to worry, this book is just delightful. It has a very real seeming faux Victorian setting, 2 appealing heroines (one dashing and adventurous, the other more shy and thoughtful), plenty of action, family secrets and a budding romance. It's just great fun all around and I can't wait to read the second volume.
