Thank goodness I only wasted an hour of my life reading this. I don't like Kate Mosse's books, and I loathe stories of the supernatural. If you like either, by all means give it a go. Otherwise, avoid.

Lovely book, just too short. It just skimmed the surface of what happened, to Freddie Smith, to his brother, George, to Marie and her family, its why I couldn't give it a 5 star rating. The book was good though. The type of book to read if you're in a hurry, or aren't brave enough to read a mammoth book, like some of Kate Mosse's other books.

A mildly interesting short story which was predictable and not as affecting as it intend to be.

Don’t let the crappy cover put you off, there is a not too bad short story inside. Even though I felt the story predictable, it had enough mystery to make the journey worth it. Love to try a longer book by this author.
