Headline: We Live as Long as our Heritage

Plot: We are on a different planet, one which humans have reached, but we're interpreting the meaning of life through the eyes of an alien species who just wants to learn how to live longer.

Likes: The narration of our frustrated main little alien is interesting.

Dislikes: I think for too long I had a feeling of what was happening in this story without really being sure, so it made me feel a bit dumb and I didn't enjoy it :)

Recommended audience: Those into alien xenology/biology.

Rating: I'm rating this a 3/5 stars, because it was an interesting read, but a bit confusing. As I'm a biologist, maybe I expected a bit better developed background to the genetics part of the story.
