I’m not quite sure what to think about this book yet … and I’m not quite sure what it was trying to be. I mean, sci fi? speculative? fiction with a twist?

Khong’s sweeping prose will transplant any reader into every setting of this novel. You’ll laugh, you’ll be shocked, and you will consider your own heritage, all while Time ticks on. Man’s first sin was trying to play God - I can’t help but see that echoed here.

The characters are alive; excellent development and nuance and depth to each of them. This book will be sitting with me for a while!! Highly recommend.
