I found the beginning to be way too unrealistic (who goes to Paris on their first date?!) and was going to stop reading, but I’m glad I ultimately finished this. The plot was a lot more interesting once you got to the other perspectives and learned about the backstories and family history.

I enjoyed this. The complication of different generations. The ways in which they all had to conform. The tense familiar relationships. It was all relatable one way or another.
