I found Ruth extremely relatable and funny and I loved how Evan was so understanding to Ruth and her trauma. They were cute.

I love Talia Hibbert! This was quirky and fun, but dealt with serious topics and the same time. It was really well done. I was rooting for Ruth!

I would give this a 3.5 stars. I think that the writing was solid, but there were parts of the book that dragged for me or I just got confused, I don't know if that was because I was reading this at work and wasn't fully devoting 100% of my energy reading this or Talia left out things.
Overall this book was solid, I don't think I am invested enough to keep reading the other books. Evan was a sweetheart and was perfect for Ruth, who had more of a thick shell and didn't want to let anyone in. I think that not giving the whole back story and having the reader go along with Evan hearing all the rumors about Ruth and her family was a good choice because I didn't see the truth happening. It was a good twist in my opinion and was done well.
I think that the ending was cut short,(going to add the spoiler things on just incase but its not really a spoiler, so look at your own risk),
I enjoyed that it was own voices and that we got a glimpse at the mind set of someone on the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Nothing really else that was wrong with the book, it just wasn't something that stood out to me, as much as other romance books I have read in the past. I would recommend it to someone who wants to read a book about someone who has ASD, is plus sized and who really doesn't care what others have to say about her.

like they were at church for Easter and then bam epilogue... I was thinking the story had at least a chapter or two left.I enjoyed that it was own voices and that we got a glimpse at the mind set of someone on the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

This was a quick read for me. I absolutely loved these characters and their interactions. I’ve always loved reading books about characters that have a hard time in social situations. I know it is different for our main character because she had autism but I still loved that aspect of the book and how kind and gentle our main love interest Evan was. Truly a beautiful and fun story to read about.
And one more thing: screw Daniel in this book and can leave!

Was a cute, quick read! I really liked both characters. The whole Daniel situation didn’t seem needed. I guess she was kinda a town pariah but it was apart of the story for maybe like 20 pages total. But overall another good Talia Hibbert read
