I actually like how this series evolves. It went from puberty to soap opera to drama to hiatus. Very curious about vol. 6.

Not bad! I think this one works so well because it’s leaning more into the relationships. It finally stressed the true antagonist, his plan, etc., but it came back around to Jon and Suzie, and that’s the best part of these books. The sex stuff is funny and important, but if you lose sight of this central relationship, the whole narrative starts to feel adrift.
