Very enjoyable read. Still in my fluffy romance mood although I wish there was a bit more of the romance in this novel. I did love the build of the friendship first, but after awhile it felt to me they may have been better as friends than a couple, but i am only feeling that because i didn't see there dynamic as a couple as much as I would have liked

“Maybe I was emotional or grateful or too tired to suppress feelings that I'd been smashing down for weeks, but all I could think was: you. I need you.

This book was the perfect remedy for the mediocrity in my reading life. I really loved how sweet and heartwarming this was, but also how realistic it was. Seth and Maddie were just the absolute cutest!!! Every single one of their interactions was so funny and sweet. I also really liked Maddie's best friend Blaire; in a lot of stories like this, the friends can be really terrible or annoying, and I didn't really feel this way at all with their relationship, which is such a nice change of pace. I 100% recommend this!!!

I can't tell if I've maybe outgrown Kasie West's writing or if her earlier books were just better, but either way it's a crying shame because I ate them up! For the record I never mind when a character goes through a brief period of being an asshole, but this protagonist was so mind-numbingly stupid and all the other characters were such dicks it was hard to take.

Side note, what kind of teacher lets a student grade their PEERS' tests???

This book and I had a love hate relationship. I was constantly drawn in one second but then the next I was humming and hawing if I even wanted to finish it. I'm glad I did as It was a very cute and lesson filled book, but it definitely wasn't quite what I was expecting.

One thing that I liked was that Kasie didn't just focus on the relationship. in fact, I felt like it was set in the back burner and was kind if added in as a bonus. I loved how Maddie had to work through her new found fame and all the lessons she learned, even though she didn't always make the right choices. But. this was sold to me more as a romance and when I was half way through the book and I wasn't yet feeling the chemistry betweed the two, I was a little disappointed. It all come together in the end though.

Overall, this isn't my favourite Kasie West book, but it was a cute read, as well as a good and fun one for learning the proper ways about dealing with money.

Another fluffy, sugary sweet Kasie West book. Of course I enjoyed it.

It was cute! I loved Seth, especially. But it was sort of a disappointment since I expected more, especially since this book was written by the Kasie West.
