I love Liz Suburpia so much y’all. I do my best to pick up her books when they came out and they never disappoint.

Cyanide Milkshake was absolutely hilarious, but also really encouraging to just keep going when life isn’t so easy. This is most raw and honest work I’ve seen from Liz and you could tell that she truly put all of herself into it. I hope her journey to find her way back to comics is fruitful, and I hope to see some work for her soon!!

Collects 7 solo-anthology zines by Liz Suburbia. Reads like a series of late, bleary-eyed nights spent channel surfing across some of the funniest, most action-packed, sexiest, most contagiously sincere shows on air. I’m amazed by how strongly I connected with each of her characters, with her visual style and sense of humor, and with her pep-talk-like prose editorials.

Liz Suburbia’s work hits a lot of the same high (punk) notes as Jaime Hernandez and Anya Davidson. I laughed. I cried. I cheered.
