Aki realizing how he can defeat the Ghost Devil was epic, and the Katana Man fight was cool. Aki and Denji teaming up for

kicking Katana Man’s balls

was hilarious. Foreshadowing was off the charts with the movie theater scenes and the town and country mouse fable. Reze is such a cute and interesting character.

This introduces a new and most likely very important character that I’m really excited to see more of. I laughed out loud for a couple minutes when denji ate the flower. I definitely liked this one more then volume 4

The relationship between Makima and Denji makes me so uncomfortable. The way she sees him as a pet that she can use however she wants.. plus he’s a minor and she is clearly older. But I don’t think the new girl is much better, I kinda get the feeling that she wants to use Chainsaw, too. We’ll see. The story is still interesting and the fight was awesome but the over sexualization is too much for me at times.
