This was great. Feyre and Rhysand will always be one of my favorite book couples. They are so perfect in every possible way. This was a lovely little book about their solstice which is basically like our Christmas. It was happy and silly and I just love the inner circle. They are a perfect family

This book was kind of random, but I kind of liked the closure it brought for Feyre and Rhys (mostly). I kind of wish they left it here, but I know there’s still a lot to be covered when it comes to the sisters and other characters. Nesta in particular….

I’ve seen some spoilers for the next book in regards to Feyre… not excited for that.

Wasn’t a fan of the switching perspective styles. First person or third person, you can’t have both SJM! It irritated me a lot, keep it consistent please!

This book was a bit of a gear change after the huge war-epic that was ACOWAR. Firstly it's a very short book compared to the rest of the books in the series. Secondly, we get multiple POVs, some in first person and some in third. I liked this change, but I only think it works because the book is short. I did think it feels more like a very long chapter rather than a whole book, and I was questioning at the end what had actually happened in this book. But I understood the need to set the scene for ACOSF. There's not much else I can write without spoiling because it is so short, but I still enjoyed it. Very very excited to start ACOSF soooon!!
