Ned the worm loves living in his red apple home, but when it starts to rot, he must find a new house. He tries everything: pears, watermelon, even blueberries, but nothing seems right. This cute little book has an adorable ending, and would be perfect for toddlers or preschoolers.

When Ned the worm discovers that his house is rotting around him he goes on a quest to find a new home. Simple text and clear, bright pictures. This book isn't going to blow anyone away by how great it is, but it's a nice story and a solid enjoyable story to use in story time as a group read aloud on an animal, apples, food, or red theme.

Ned's is a real homebody. When his apple home, perfect for a worm, begins to rot, he has to start searching for a new house. A pear ends up being too wobbly, his cherry home creation falls apart, and no one can find him in a kiwi. An accidental ride in the sky lands him in an apple tree - what luck! A sweet story about finding your way back to friends and a place to live.

Cute. Might work with class visit on apple theme.
