Always great fun to figure out whodunit... an added bonus is that listening melts the miles away on a road trip.

The problem with me is that I’ve been voraciously consuming all the Hercule Poirot series I can get my hands on. So I have quite come to terms that, at this point, it’s only natural for the stories to become formulaic. The murders have become easier to the reader, and I absolutely enjoy it for that. Miss Christie rarely betrays her readers in that aspect.

But this installment is one that I particularly enjoyed. Maybe the dog’s voice contributed to that but, really, I think this was a difficult case to solve. Miss Christie really had so many tricks up her sleeves we love her for that.

Bob the dog was super cute! The mystery itself didn't pique my interest too much, but as always Agatha Christie is eminently readable.

Another skillful and entertaining Poirot mystery! I did guess the murderer, however.
