An exciting conclusion to the arc, though it took a bit too long for me, haha. Then again that always happens with shounen with me. It was a great fight though and I loved how much Tanjiro improved, helped, and did all he could. I had a laugh at Zenitsu, think about it though waking up covered in blood with bones broken and no recollection of anything happening XD. I loved that Nezuko levelled up, that is a great thing! Plus, that backstory of the demons just broke my heart. Poor duo.

Damn, that was a thrilling end to this showdown! It was nice that one of Uzui's wives got to have a moment in the spotlight for this brawl, and it was even BETTER that Uzui's still alive! Thank you, Gotouge, thank so much for sparing him!

I liked seeing the final moments between the two demons as well as their past lives. One of my favorite aspects of this manga is seeing what happened to these demons in their past to make them what they are now, and it was heartbreaking to see how damaged both demons were. Their final moments were great and it was nice seeing Tanjiro rebuke them for their bickering, once again showing his empathetic nature.

One thing that concerns me is the implication that Tanjiro will be taking a Hashira position, only because it sounds like he could be taking Uzui's spot. I thought, considering Sound breathing came from Thunder breathing, that Zenitsu would be taking Uzui's position (purely based on logic) but it sounds like it could be Tanjiro. I figured, once again based on logic, that Tanjiro would take Rengoku's position, and maybe that will be the case, I won't know until the next volume comes out (I don't read the chapters online, so no spoilers, please!)

Anyway, this was another stellar volume that gave me everything I wanted and more. I love this series and can't wait to see where it goes from here.

“HE'S ALL ALONE?
WHY WON'T
HE GIVE UP?
WHY WON'T HIS
SPIRIT BREAK?!”

“WHY WON’T
HE LOSE…

…THE
WILL TO
DEFEAT
ME?!”

The entertainment district arc concludes after a long battle with Daki and Gyutaro, and I like that it’s enough for Uzui to retire with his wives happily. Nezuko reverting back to demon form for even a moment was horrifying and sad to see, but in the end she did turn out okay. I love the optimism of Ubuyashiki after the battle, and the fact he can feel that the fall of Muzan is approaching is a great characteristic for him.
