 **NOT MY CUP OF TEA**

Read this review with a grain of salt because this is not my cup of tea. I read it twice but no love tingles were detected. I don't remember the story that much while editing the review.

-Has an overarching narrative
-Nitpick: no table of contents inside :(
-My favorite characters as of this volume are the twins due to their backstory and as comedic duo in the story.
-Nice setup
-Characters' personalities & quirks were more pronounced due to improvement of facial expressions.
-Some of the central characters in this story are based on some actual celebrities here in the Philippines. They just jumbled their names.
-A twist on the Captain Barbell story
-Introduction to possible main villain in future stories. If she will be the main villain, I'm hella interested for future volumes.

Overall Thoughts: I think the reason I did not like it compare to the Darna story is because I was never interested in Captain Barbell.

Out of all the Trese comics I've read, this is my favorite so far! I love the story, and I'm looking forward to more cases of Trese, especially now that I think that she has an archenemy

It's always exciting when a new Trese comes out. While I was feeling the last volume was getting repetitive, this latest installment seemed fresh and exciting. Maybe because we dig deeper into Alexandra Trese's life that she seems more human and we as readers care what happens to her?

In this one, more masked avengers are coming in to save the day but Alexandra discovers they're more than nuisances but a bigger threat than she anticipated.

I love the change in format with these stories so I can't wait to see what comes up next.

Not nearly as thrilling and intriguing as the previous volumes but still well done. I am very interested in learning more about the Madame.
