It's an interesting concept, two writers using their own characters together in the same short story. This story starts out good and interesting but is over too quickly and easily. Not the best work of either writer. If you want a Reacher short story read one of the others.

I've nearly completed my chronological reread of Jack Reacher and this short story is a new one to me, and I really liked it. It's crazy how much can happen to Reacher in so few pages, and you do have to suspend disbelief a little, but I like any story where Reacher crosses paths with another character who has a history of law enforcement (and is outside of his circle of army colleagues). The actions of Reacher and Heller are morally ambiguous at best, but the interplay between them is great. I'm now quite intrigued by Nick Heller, so will probably try one of those books.

A very fun and fast read. It took all of 26 mins. And a lot can happen in 26 minutes with Jack Reacher.

Final of the Face Off anthology series and one of the better ones - in the top three anyway.
Somewhat morally ambiguous, but the interplay between Reacher (who I have read books in the series) and Heller (which I have not) was a highlight in the short tale.
