Didn't enjoy the pov character's voice/internal monologue and, after reading some reviews, have decided to skip this one.

Very Cute queer romance! You get a nice insight to each character's lives and what they are dealing with outside of the relationship

A quick and easy read, but I stopped reading completely for many days because I was dreading getting into this one so much. Right from the start, I felt like the writing style (quirky Gen Z with over the top pop culture references) would be insufferable, and that trend continued. Didnt like the main character at all, not even as he "grew and evolved", didn't like the family dynamic or the best friend dynamic and the love interest wasn't as lovable as the book tried to make it either. Randomly tried to get super deep and it didn't fit. Ending really ruined it for me, I couldve been pulled back but I loathed it.

It was a fun ride! Though it didn't quite stick the landing for me. I think the choices at the end of the book set up the age gap in an uncomfortable dynamic that wasn't necessary.
