What a breath of fresh air! I have not read anything like it.
My only complaint about it is that every chapter is in a different year. I don't see why it was not written in chronological order. In my opinion, it made it hard to keep track of what has and has not happened yet.
That's it. That is the only complaint I have. Eveything else was great!

2.5 stars. This author loves to hear herself “talk.” Pages and pages of beautiful prose, but dead boring 90% of the time. Plot was sorely lacking, as was organization. Bummer.
