While not normally a big fan of sports fiction, Tim Green is my exception to the rule. Unfortunately I was disappointed in his latest book as it seemed to be dragged out and prolonged more than necessary.
Joey and Zach are best friends. They are up against each other for the only spot on the all-stars team. There are honesty and friendship issues raised throughout the book. They are good, strong messages but seem a bit trite and overdone, which also may have contributed to my overall lack of excitement about the book.
