This was such a uniquely told story, I had no idea which direction it was going at any given time. I’m still thinking about how everything happened and might change my rating after some thought!

The first chapter of this book was engaging, but it went downhill from there. There is so much repetition that it felt like the author was trying to pad the page count of a novella to become a full novel. It was also way too dark for my taste and the characters didn’t feel like real people to me.

I thought this was really good. The story is told through multiple perspectives which I enjoyed. The big twist was actually at the beginning and there was another one at the end. The last twist gave it the extra quarter star for me. I think I liked the teacher character the most.
