For: beginner readers looking for a book with a lot of onomatopoeia.

Possible red flags: bad singing.

This was alright. The rhymes weren’t great, but there were a few good ones.

Similar to the Foot book or the Eye book, this is all about simple words and things we hear. For young children. Nice illustrations and we all loved the part about sister singing loud. ha.

The kids enjoyed this and gave it 4 stars.

Designed to be an easy reader book with lots of simple one syllable words and repetition, nevertheless, this still makes a decent (but not outstanding) group read aloud for an ear or "e" or body/senses theme in story time.

Added 11/17/2021: I still think this makes a fun read aloud - but when I read it today I was annoyed that there's a dad mentioned and a sister mentioned (both multiple times) and yet no mention of a mom or a brother. Not a big deal, but I noticed.
