I think this book is perfect for what it wishes to be! Just a romance book that gives you all the nice cliches in the year 1812. I could totally see this getting a movie adaptation and well a girl can only hope 😭

I think Lucy telling Audrey “you have consumed me completely” is one of the most romantic things ever and I love them so much

I  wish we could have gotten to see more of Lucy in the future…..

Adorably wholesome, cute and funny (not all fun and games though as there's sadness and some very old fashioned views due to the time period) 
An enjoyable read that should ultimately make you smile and leave your heart warm and fuzzy.
