Perhaps the most boring out of the bunch as I’m reading these in order, but looks at where to place blame and how to make sure it’s actually your fault before others.

These books! I love them! They crack me up! Here's a snippet ...

"Were those clues?
I thought of Rosamond.
She was strange.
That was not a clue.
That was her problem.
Then I thought about her book and her can of water."

Rosamond is selling weeds, and the weed that Oliver has bought has gone missing! Nate must solve the case, even though he thinks it's dumb that he's trying to find a weed.

My 6-year-old read this one to me.

Good book for my 2nd grader to read on his own. Also a good bedtime story.
