I feel very cynical saying I didn’t love this book because it’s obviously a great story. Something about the writing style just felt a little… childish, almost, and a lot of the lawyers came across as so naive and self-righteous it was hard to get past it. Then again, I may like it less because I had to read it for class.

This story reaffirms my faith in the law and the power it can provide even the beginner apprentice. I appreciated the author's frank account of the good and the bad in this true saga, and the richness of detail he provided in his description of an astounding cast of characters.
