I remember this book fondly from childhood. I am glad I’m able to read it to my children.

This story has gorgeous illustrations, and I thought the story was cute. Both of my kids enjoyed this book. The sentences weren’t too long, and it kept my littles’ attention.

This is a cute book for kids and is a must for our collection of only for nostalgia purposes.

Aww!! A mother’s love.
Thank you to my Lit prof for making us read this. I love my mom so so much.

This is an example of my inability to comment on the merits of a book without being influenced by my memories of how my own children reacted to it. We read this a million times - it's reassuring for children to know that no matter what happens, mom (or dad) will be there...in control and providing care...in imaginary situations and in real life (as affirmed by the closing sentence, "Have a carrot.")

The Runaway Bunny by Margaret Wise Brown
Audio version so I am not seeing the colorful pictures.
A little bunny wants to run away and he explains how to his mother he will keep away from her.
She explains to him what she will become and how she will find him and she will get him back.
Love the part where she will give him a hug.
I received this book from National Library Service for my BARD (Braille Audio Reading Device).

There are few things more charming than this book. I've normally not found it much use at story time, but with only six two-year-olds today, it worked quite well--everyone could come up and find the little bunny in each picture.

Right from the start I didn't like the storyline. I also didn't like the drawings. Everything was so blend and boring. Could have been so much more, missed change!

I read this book so much when I was a kid, I'm just gonna mark that I read it in 2010 because I can't remember when I actually read it last.

I don't remember how I felt about it as a kid, but I love it as a pre-school teacher. I love how every other page is a beautiful two-page color painting.
