The action starts right away in Trust a Few where we find out if a known terrorist can be released from his compulsory military service a changed man. While this book is set in the future and features technologies that we won't have for decades, the topics covered are easily applied to our current society. Touching on terrorism, the criminal justice system, and the pervasive question of what makes life worth living, Trust a Few is a book that you must read!

From a startling starting point: a man who has no recollection of his past other than what the authorities have told him about his crimes, we are taken on a journey across a universe that is anything but shallow. The character development and the world(s) that we discover through them are colorful and well thought out. Each of the characters motives and there consequences are clear and relatable over time.

Only real problem is that I now need to wait to find out what happens to them in the next book.

Well worth the read.

This is a captivating story that throws you into a world of hope, intrigue, violence and friendship. Each character is well profiled. It is the first novel by this author that I read, but I am definitely going to read more. I will certainly buy the whole trilogy because I must know what happens next.
