Is it possible to do a -5 stars review? No? Alright. Anyway: I loathe Freud and everything about this text. That's about it.

Having heard references to Freud since high school, I appreciated the chance to finally read some of Freud's work. I took from this analysis that Freud was extremely sexist and self-absorbed. On the one hand, he didn't think women could demonstrate sexuality, yet, on the other hand, he casts Dora's overtures of sexuality as masculine. Despite contradicting himself, Freud makes a relatively convincing case in his interpretations of Dora's two dreams. Although much of Freud's theory is debunked today, this book provides an interesting look into the fascination with dream interpretation and psychoanalysis that remains strong into the 21st century.

DISCLAIMER - I read this text as a set text for university meaning I did not pick this up for myself. It does not necessarily fit my usual reading selection so my review may be rather biased.
Yeah I hated this. Nothing more to say really.

(read for class) i have to admit, this was well written. but beyond that, this reads like a book that wants to feel as fictional as possible. it’s legitimately hilarious freud thought he was doing something here
