‘Enola Holmes: The Graphic Novels: The Case of the Peculiar Pink Fan, The Case of the Cryptic Crinoline, and The Case of Baker Street Station’ by Nancy Springer and adapted by Serena Blasco is a graphic novel with the Sherlock Holmes sibling.
The three cases in this volume involve a woman in an arranged marriage, one that has been kidnapped and one that has disappeared. Along the way there are codes to crack, appearances by Mycroft and Sherlock and even Florence Nightingale makes an appearance. Enola’s mother is still missing, and her brothers still don’t know what to do with Enola.
The adventures are great and I love the addition of the codecraft at the end of each story. The setting and characters are great and the mysteries aren’t bad. The art isn’t completely to my liking but it’s not bad.

I received an eARC of this title through NetGalley in return for an honest review.
Enola Holmes is back in this fun graphic novel adaptation of the book series of the same title.
I genuinely liked this adaptation. I felt it had all the important scenes necessary to tell the story. Of course some things were missing or different from the book, however, I think this adaptation pulls the story together in a cohesive way. The artwork is similar to the first volume of these graphic novels in an almost watercolor-esque style.
What I really like about this graphic novel series is at the end of each story, there is an explanation of the ciphers and coded messages as well as historical details about the era. In one, it talks about how women would wear corsets, sometimes to an extreme. I think this adds to the story and a good way for younger readers to understand the historical context. It also has sections on how to make your own ciphers which I think would interest people as well.

I really like the art style of these books and how it really adds to feel overall vibe of the story. I also really like how it explains how to do each cypher that's mentioned. After watching the Enola Holmes movie I can't help but hear Henry Cavill's voice every time Sherlock speaks
