I enjoyed the characters and the family dynamics of this storyline. I think I would have cared about the characters more had the book not been written in 3rd person. Not a criticism, just a personal preference especially for rom-coms. I am interested to read the siblings storylines.

I absolutely LOVE this book!!!

Georgie's Grandfather dies and leaves the Brewery to her and her siblings....

The Brewery needs help, so she hires River....

And the rest is History.....

It's a fun, quirky, humorous, exciting Love Story!!!

With some very loveable and quirky characters that I can't wait to learn more about.

found a better book and had moved on to bully romance at the time. Just have not moved back to this yet.

The story line is interesting. For me there was just something missing. I wasn’t super invested in the story.

I adored "Any Luck at All" by Denise Grover Swank and A.R. Casella, a laugh-out-loud funny, sweet, and heartwarming story featuring likeable, well-developed characters and an engaging plot. Main characters Georgie Buchanan and River Reeves had fantastic chemistry from the start, and it was very easy for me to root for them to overcome the obstacles standing in their way so that they could be together.

There were a lot of different family dynamics explored in this story, some involving the Buchanan siblings and their father and others involving River, his relationship with the late Beau Buchanan (Georgie's grandfather), and his Aunt Dottie. I'm a big fan of "found family" stories, and River certainly found his in Asheville with Beau and Dottie. Georgie and her siblings Lee and Adalia had quite a bit to work through as they met their brother Jack for the first time, in addition to unexpectedly inheriting their grandfather's brewery. It will be very interesting to see how the siblings' relationship evolves over the course of this series.

I really enjoyed all of the book's lovable, quirky secondary characters, who added a tremendous amount of depth and humor to the story. My favorite was River's Aunt Dottie with all of her New Age interests, especially the crystals, some of which were rather interestingly shaped. I also got a laugh out of Beau's attorney during the will reading because I couldn't help picturing him as Ted from "Scrubs"; there was just so much flop sweat! There were several hilarious animals in this story as well, particularly Jezebel the devil cat and Hops the puppy, who was engaged in a doomed love affair with a sandal.

Overall, I highly recommend this book for all fans of contemporary romance and romantic comedy. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book in the series!

River Reeves' world has come crashing down. First his beloved mentor, Beau, died and now the man that he thought of as his business partner sold their company out from right under him. He's not sure where to go or what to do. But, when Beau's granddaughter offers River a job as a brewmaster in Beau's company, he's hesitant. Georgie is incredibly attractive and he's not sure that he can work with her.
Georgie's world isn't doing much better. She had only just reconnected with her grandfather when the man died. Now she's got a brewery that she co-owns with her siblings. All three of them. Even the one her father never acknowledged. They can all decide to sell but if even one wants to run the now failing brewery, they all have to be in. Her brother and sister immediately decide they want to sell. Her half-brother Jack is ready to go all in. Her only problem is that there is a teeny-tiny clause in the will which means that she is going to be lying by omission to River, a man she is not only getting to know, but to love.
A nice set up for the series. I am not a huge fan of clauses in wills creating the action for a book and this one was compounded by adding to the last Big Misunderstanding. I did like Georgie and Rive and especially liked that much of their relationship was conducted before she actually became his boss.

Any Luck at All by Denise Grover Swank and A.R. Casella which is a stand-alone in the Asheville Brewing series.

The description of this book being an opposites attract romantic comedy couldn’t be more spot on, as this is exactly what the story is.

The chemistry between Georgie and River radiates off the page, and you can’t help but be drawn into their love story. The character development is well written.

I’m looking forward to reading the other stand-alone books in the Asheville Brewing series.

I loved the story here! Laughed and cried a bit! The characters are perfectly flawed and the plot is well structured. I managed to stretch it out over a few days since I know we are a few months from the next one and wasn't quite ready to say goodbye!

I absolutely loved this book. It was funny, and a light-hearted read just what I needed. This is my first read from both authors too and I really enjoyed it. Not only were Georgie and River are great characters, but the side characters are also amazing. I guarantee you, pick this up and you'll laugh the whole time.

If you need a good and funny rom-com with lots of witty banter and amazing chemistry, then pick this one up!

I am SO EXCITED for a new romcom series from DGS!! This book was so much fun! I want to go visit the brewery now so bad! LOL DGS and A.R. Casella did a fantastic job writing this together. The characters are written so you want to know them and want to know more about them! I was hooked pretty quickly in this story. I absolutely cannot wait for more in this series!!
