It is hard to rate the book because it took about 250 pages to get into the book, but once I was in, it was worth it. The book carefully weaves through the past and present, telling the story of two sisters who appear more different than they are similar. However, once their stories and values are more interwoven, it's hard to put the book down. Like other readers, the last 75 pages were truly an emotional experience and highlight why Kristin Hannah wrote it the way she did - so we could really feel the significance of the ending.
