I liked the book but Dolly's use of the r-slur and Vivica's comments on immigrants were unnecessary. I understand that Dolly is portrayed as mean and superficial and Vivica is supposed to be dumb but nothing would have changed in the book if those parts were not included. •–• Plus there was a lot of fat shaming done. Also, I think it's weird how Mel didn't just search up Max and how
quick John was to propose.
