After a re-read, this book has gone from 5 stars to 4 stars. I don't remember getting annoyed while reading it the first time, but this second time I did. It's written all in e-mails, which I love, but too many of the characters wrote exactly the same with the same quirks and everything. Still a cute story that's a keeper for me when I need something fun and quick.

I read this book a long time ago when I was probably just entering University. I really liked it then (and still like it now). It’s refreshing to read and reminds me of a time when we didn’t have mobile phones constantly in the palms of our hands.

The format of the story is told through emails. The book had me laughing quite hard at times and the characters are very likeable. I definitely will re-read this again in the years to come and will probably still enjoy it like I did the very first time I read it all those years ago.

The only bit I wish could have been different is the ending, only because it felt kind of rushed. However, it was a nice tie-in and suits the chick lit genre quite well.

I absolutely adore this book. Mainly due to the style the story is told via email which is different and interesting!I've now read this book at least three times and I love the rest of the series as well. More books need to be written like this!

I bought this book probably 15+ years ago thinking I’d like to try Meg Cabot’s adult books…and it stayed on the shelf since. Now I was like why not. It’s crazy how dated some of the stuff seems but I enjoyed the old celeb gossip and early 2000s world.

The review on the front said “a fast addictive read” and they were right. It kept moving quickly with the writing style. A cheesey romance with men clearly written by a woman but a fun story nonetheless and a dash of mystery on top.

Exactly what I’d hoped for, a slightly more adult version of the types of the light books I’d loved reading growing up
