Unfortunately, this was pretty much every dystopian franchise compiled into one. Hunger Games (with the salute and everything), Snowpiercer (strangely enough), with a dash of Divergent and the look of it seems to draw from things like Blade Runner 2049. Unfortunately, the story couldn't really grab me because I've seen things like this before. The cast has some curious choices but I wouldn't count this one among the Future State books I'm most looking forward to, personally.
