Under One Roof
I liked Mara and Liam as a couple but the way they went from hating each other to completely in love was far too rushed. Even though it's a novella, I wish their story was a bit more slow burn and not slow then super fast. The ending felt so rushed and there were so many times when I found Liam annoying. How is a girl supposed to know if you like her if you sigh and ignore her all day and literally tried to pay her to leave? I think I would have preferred more communication from Liam about his personal life. I think there's more to be said about his relationship with Helena and how it's affected his life.
Stuck With You
I love Sadie as a character, she was so fierce and delicate at the same time. I hated how she just ignored Erik and let her boss get into her head. Yes, she should have been more careful about "exposing" company secrets but it's not like Erik's company couldn't have come up with that proposal themselves. She should have at least let Erik explain instead of ignoring the hundreds of messages and calls. Also why is she so hung up on this man, like girl...he's just a man. You spent one day with him, he "betrayed" you - move on. I also loved at the end how she stood up to Erik's brother - homeboy abandoned his cat and then expected to talk him home? No sir, that's Sadie's cat now.
Below Zero
Hannah and Ian were cute. I liked how even though they had an almost fling 5 years prior but didn't get hung up on it. Completely the opposite of Sadie and Erik - they both moved on with their lives. I think Hannah was by far the more relatable character because of how human she seemed. She was lost as a teenager, didn't care about anything, ignored by her family and then found the thing that she loved and decided to make it her future. I think we can all relate to that feeling of being ignored, always second best and never enough but when it comes to that one thing that we love - it's like all those voices are silenced. I know we say "I never need a man to save me" but I'm quite happy that Ian did save Hannah and was there not because he didn't think she could do it but because he was genuinely worried for and about her.
