3,5 ⭐️ Just as with my most recent read this was a book that I read for pure enjoyment. And those kinds of books are needed between all the school-assigned novels. I have watched both existing seasons and therefore knew what to expect. The changes made for the tv-show are very justifiable and I picture the actors and scenes clearly in my head as i’m reading. I have nothing very negative to say about this book but nothing that’s exceedingly positive either. I think the characters are well described and the storyline is good, but at times dull. The book fits perfect as a beach read or a weekend activity but it’s not a must-read. I would only recommend it for girls my age since I believe that we are the very specific group that would enjoy this cute, but emotional story. I may be getting a bit categorical but I mean no harm. A beautiful story about loss, love, and teenage drama with interesting characters and surprisingly good writing.
