I didn't like this volume quite as much as the first one but I still enjoyed it. The art is honestly probably my favorite thing about the series, everything just looks beautiful and I especially the fight scenes look great. I also really like all the characters and the dynamic they have, I like how they are more down to earth compared to a team like the Avengers.
The thing I did not like as much was the storyline. I thought sometimes it was a bit all over the place and the pacing was quite weird but I guess that's probably just because the series already ended after ten issues and the ending just felt a bit rushed.
I would still recommend this series to anyone who enjoyed the Netflix show or otherwise just likes these characters.

I really liked this installment in the Defenders series. I am honestly really sad to know that it's been canceled. I really love Brian Michael Bendis's interpretation of the Heroes For Hire crew.

Not a lot of story here, but you won't care. The moments are what does it: Iron Fist battling it out with Elektra, DD & Elektra "speaking ninja," the people of Harlem appreciating their Heroes for Hire, Deadpool mooning and kissing the Punisher, The Hood vs. The Kingpin, Norn Stones, Misty Knight, Jessica Jones, Black Cat, and half the damn Marvel Universe in a couple of splash panels. BMB says good-bye to Marvel for awhile with this one, and it's a worthy bon voyage.

oh man, with how good volume one was i expected this to be just the same.
the first couple of issues in here were quite great, but definitely went downhill from there. the ending wasn't resolved either, they decided to add another character near the end just to do nothing with them and add more confusion. if there was another issue or two, i think it would've been tied off so nicely.
