It says a lot about the strength of a writer and a series when you read a sequel some time after the previous book - I often have to remind myself of the previous books before I can get into the new one - but I was slammed straight back into Angel's world with the first sentence of Another Bump in the Road- it was like no time had passed since I’d read the earlier books, and I loved spending more time with Angel and her family.
The characters are very powerful - and complex too – the author shows the different sides of people extremely well. Human behaviour and the decisions we make are so fascinating, and I’m sure that anybody interested in people and psychology will enjoy this cast of characters and the world in which they have to find their way.
