loved the cover, found the text really awkward to read. the concepts are more for adults and i felt like it would take me two readings to totally follow. i think my preschooler was just lost

Dog is no longer with Rabbit to share stories of his adventures, one day Rabbit finally builds up the courage to go create his own stories. This is a story about loss, loneliness, and finding your way to be brave.

"Rabbit and the Motorbike" is a lovely book with a sweet story accompanied by some beautiful illustrations.

Thanks to the @kidlitexchange network for a review copy of this book - all opinions are my own.

Absolutely STUNNING artwork accompanied a sad yet hopeful tale. A great story to use when teaching children about grief and remembering loved ones who have passed on.

A very warm fuzzy book about the adventures on a motorcycle. There is a death in the story but it is handled very beautifully.

In my half-year as a children's librarian, this is far and away the best picture book I've picked up. A poetic gem of a narrative and a lifetime layered on coloured pages.

beautiful art and moving story about grief. maybe it's just me, but i'm also picking up some queer vibes from the story, not romance, but just... intergenerational queer friendship. idk. maybe i'm projecting.

Loved the idea and illustrations, but not completely sold on the lyrical text. I think it might be beyond a lot of kids.
