for me

Now I didn’t know this book was written by the same author who wrote adorkable until way into reading it. I read adorkable years ago and I loved it but this book not so much. First the book has so many stereotypes in it. It seem to feed into all of them. I would have loved for it so be better than that. The romance was cute but could have been better. The ending was kind of abrupt and needed at least an epilogue. I wouldn’t say it was super suspenseful as the villain was easy to guess. Comparing to adorkable and the writing this book was trash in comparison. I loved adorkable so much but this book is so much worse. I am so disappointed in this book and the author. She has so many other good book but this one is not one of them. I’m assuming this book is an fluke. Overall it was kind of cute but I hated the stereotyping. I don’t know if I would recommend this I would just tell someone to read one of her other books. For me it’s a 2/5

100% YA goodness. Absolutely loved it, from the first page to the last. Ash was totally swoon worthy and Snow kicks major ass. I loved how non threatened Ash was by the fact Snow could take him down with her eyes closed and both hands behind her back. Loved the Becks & Sal cameos. Amazing side characters too. Min, Bae Bae and Koi we’re brilliant and can’t forget Mrs. Lee and all her badassery. A definite five star win for me. *****

'This one kiss was everything, so I put all of me into it. The longing, the fire, the respect, the bone-deep desire. This didn’t happen every day. I had to convey to Snow how unique this thing between us was. How absolutely vital. When she kissed me back, I could’ve died right there and been a happy man. Except then, I’d never get to kiss Snow again—which would be a tragedy.'

Super frustrating. So much language. The story was good. Until the end. It really did fall flat at the end. It seems like it was the easy way out.

Wow! What a cute and swoon-worthy read! I feel I can't say much else about Cookies books because that's precisely what they are. They are fluffy cute romances and don't try to be anything different. In fact, they are the most like Kasie West's book out of all I read and exactly what I need.
(I have a hard time rating these books because while) I did enjoy this book better than Adorkable because while best friends to lovers are cute, opposites attract just appeals to me more(I should know, I devoured this book in a day). I loved Ash's constant attempts to woo Snow, and Snow's reluctance was great.
A minor hiccup was that I wish we got to know more about Snow, each POV chapter was short, and I felt we could have gotten to know a bit more about her dad, her mom and her academy, etc. I lost a bit of interest in the end with the whole kidnapping thing, I was more into the romance. But other than that, an enjoyable read.

this one was hard for me to like.

personally i thought the characters both surrounding snow and ash were hihgly unlikeable. like even min-hee honestly felt like such a fake friend, constantly putting snow down for not being girly enough, still keeping Nara around even after those snarky comments, and blaming snow for being the reason she was unable to tell her about her engagement with bae bae. and also the fact that she takes Nara talking shit about snow?? honestly so fake.

I also thought that though Snow was pretty badass, she lacked the ability to stand up for herself, which just made me hurt for her. And Ash might've fallen in love too quick, but at least the romance redeemed it.
