It has a complicated concept about the living and the dead, yet it was an easy book to read. I had a hard time putting it down. As the cover said, the reader will find itself reading a ghost story but at the same time going through topics like family trauma and unresolved feelings between a parent and a child. I didn't expect a ghost-related story to be so heartfelt. I really enjoyed the book and I hope many people will do as well.

Super quick, super great. No one believes in ghosts until the spirit of Michael's dead hermit grandpa shows up to show them what it means to close yourself off to opportunity and the love of your family. That's some deep shit, right? This book just made it to my #mustread list. Hashtag life lessons, y'all.

I was surprised by how much I liked this book - the main character develops a relationship with his deceased and almost completely unknown grandpa when his ghost begins following Matt.
