Lost my interest (and that of my 10-year-old). DNF'd about halfway through.

I have a sneaking feeling I would have identified with Sabrina when I was younger. But now that I'm older I have less patience with a character like that. A fun premise, though it makes me wish my library had more volumes of Fables. They're quick and enjoyable reads and it's interesting to see what people think the "real" characters were like and how they'd interact if they were in each other's stories. In most these books, the wolf is always seeking redemption and prince charming is always shallow.

It was cute, I don’t know why it didn’t click with me as much as I thought it would. I love fairytale retellings and inspired by books, but it felt kind of a slug to get through at times and it’s less than 300 pages. Hopefully the next one will be better.
