This was a short but interesting read. I liked the technology and INGRID, the AI.
Although there weren't many characters, I still liked their personalities. Dr Foster had a lot to deal with, emotionally and I couldn't imagine how hard it would be to be in his position. Dr Tanaka made the ultimate sacrifice, even though he didn't have to.
The pacing was good and I finished reading this book quite quickly. I would've liked a longer book with more world building though.
The ending was nice and it was full of hope for a new world.
