It was actually so weird reading this. I used to listen to Geronimo Stilton on audio as a youth, and would often read the books too. Opening this up was like a delayed blast from the past.
At first I struggled with the illustrations. I'm not a huge fan of the messy, "might have been drawn by a three-year-old" style that's become increasingly popular these days. There's just not much to look at somehow. But once I started getting into this one, I realized it had the same voice as the Geronimo Stilton books from the olden days, so I'd say I enjoyed this one.

Can Geronimo Stilton & friends solve the puzzles before the wareslugs do? & eat everyone?!? Read it to find out.
Another great Geronimo Stilton adaptation by Tom Angleberger (author of The Origami Yoda series). I will be recommending for ages 8 & up.

My son watches a lot of TV, and this kept him entertained. We still haven’t made it to the end, but it’s a long book for a 4-year old.

Why did I read this? I didn't care for the style of the first one in the volume in this series. The illustration seem to be done in hurry in a rough manner. And the stinky, sliminess just doesn't appeal to me. Kids will love it.
