This was an interesting read. Instead of one story, there were two.

The first story, Stag Party, is where you meet the fertility god Cernunnos, also known as Dane, who only has one week to get married. If he doesn't he loses his godhood, become mortal, and die. Enter Megan, American travel writer who is working on a segment for her company. She is everything that Dane wants in a woman, except that she doesn't fall so easily to his charms.

The second story, Norse Truly, introduces you to Alrik and his crew, cursed to sail the same stretch of sea forever. Enter Brynna, an American in town to visit family when the car she was driving skids off the road and into the water. After being rescued Alrik and his crew know that she is the only one who can save them.

Both stories were interesting, but I felt like they could have been drawn out a bit and each made into their own books and been a bit more interesting.

There isn't more I can really say about this book because it was two short stories put together. They both were very interesting, but both a bit rushed in my opinion. Still good though. :)

It is ok for a light read on vacation. It just did not grab me into the charaters at all. It was was is was written to be a light funny book. I like more depth and plot when I read. This is the first book I have read by this author and i have been told it is not her best at all, so I'll give her another shot with a recomened book " You Slay Me"

Two novellas by Katie MacAlister. I would say these weren't my favorite Katie MacAlister stories by a long shot - but I enjoyed them none the less.

2.5 stars. Not very entertaining but not that bad either. Like mythology and romance and hoped a mixed of boat would be fun. But it was kinda meh for me. Might pick up other books of the author though.

I really enjoyed the second story-but I had some issues with the first one.

I really loved both stories.

Stag Party was great, but I really loved Norse Truly.

I've yet to read a MacAlister book that I haven't loved.

Two hysterical novellas featuring two different Gods and the women they find to love them. Very funny and romantic.

Two mythology related romance stories. Rating collections of stories is always difficult. In this case, I enjoyed the second story more than the first. Overall, it was a fun read, but some of the tropes didn't age well since the initial 2008 release.
